OFocoNoticiasNa quarta-feira, dia 13, a Secretaria Municipal de Serviços Públicos iniciou a limpeza das margens do Córrego do Gravatá, na altura da Feira do Bueiro, centro de Eunápolis.
Com auxílio de equipe operacional e máquinas, o trabalho visa melhorar a drenagem da água das chuvas, que atingem a região atualmente, evitando assim, as enchentes.
“O lixo descartado de forma incorreta acaba sendo transportado pela água da chuva, chegando às margens do córrego, prejudicando o escoamento da água”, esclareceu o secretário de Serviços Públicos, Sandro Lopes.
O secretário frisou ainda que é necessário que a população se conscientize sobre o descarte correto do lixo, o que evita sujeira, proliferação de doenças e enchentes em períodos chuvosos.
